Here we are, yet another Sund. and I presume shall pass two more at sea. Weather getting all the time hotter, still we are getting along very well. The rain we have been expecting the last ten days made it’s appearance today but only in a few refreshing showers. So now we are over the spot where we expected a change in the shape of stormy weather. Perhaps we shall be fortunate to escape. Today we are seventeen hundred and fifty miles off. We don’t see a sign of a vessel, which together with the absence of fish makes the ocean look very dreary.
